To protect the environment and ensure the best burning properties, our candles are only surface-dipped and not dyed. Dyes are often made from various chemicals and metals, and we strive for all the mass in the candle to burn completely through the wick. This reduces the environmental impact and provides a cleaner burn.

Hand-cast candles always contain a mix of paraffin and stearin, these have 60% certified paraffin and 40% palm oil-free stearin and a lead-free cotton wick.
